Vehicles of Interest Sought in Shooting in the 1200 Block North Capitol Street, NW
The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating two vehicles of interest in connection with an Assault with Intent to Kill incident which occurred in the 1200 block of North Capitol Street, NW.On Monday, March 11, 2013, approximately 2:10 am, the vehicles of interest were captured by surveillance video as they drove by a building in the block. Occupants of at least one vehicle fired shots into a group of individuals on the sidewalk.
Initial reports indicated that one of the involved vehicles may have been a BMW. After reviewing the video, it appears the vehicle may not be a BMW.

Anyone with information that can assist in the identification of this subject is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099. The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for this assault.
